JC Galloway of Rosman went to be with his heavenly father June 13, 2026. He was the son of the late Clyde and Cleo Lambert Galloway. JC was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Leona.

JC was a 1962 graduate of Rosman High School. He honorably served the United States of America over 5 years as Army Specialist Four in the Vietnam War. He retired from Olin/Ecusta Papermill after 40+ years.

He leaves behind a wonderful family that he often told Leona, “look what we started”; Daughter Carmella (Clarence) Raines; Sons Derrick (Michelle) Galloway, Erick (Jan) Galloway; Brother-in-law John (BJ) Ashe; Grandchildren Danielle (Will) Goulet, Clarence (Katie) Raines, II, Austin (Jennifer) Galloway, Levi (Mackenzie) Galloway, Riley Galloway, Jess (Shaylin) Nichols and Carver (Sara) Nichols. There are also 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and very special cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 17, 2026 with a service at 2:00 pm. A graveside military service will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
