Jean Fox, 94, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Oaks of Brevard with her family at her side. Her husband of 72 years, Tom, preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughter, Joanne Poston of Brevard, her son, Thomas Fox of Elizabeth City, grandchildren, Dane Thomas Helding of Modesto, CA, Pamela Fox of Norfolk, VA, and Kirk Fox of Columbia, NC, great grandchildren, Faye and Penelope Fox of Columbia, NC, and Rachael Whiteside of Norfolk, VA. Jean was a homemaker that enjoyed her life, her happy marriage of so many years, her family, her many travels abroad, and her much love dog, Molly. Her kind and gentle nature will be greatly missed. There will be a private family service.
