Lake Toxaway – Jean Dale White Smith, 71, went home to be with the Lord on July 23, 2016. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Ruby Fisher White. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Robert, Kenneth and Eddie White and two sisters; Maryann Morgan and Lucille Hollingsworth. Survivors include her husband of 51 years; Ellis Smith, son; Shane Smith of Hendersonville, niece; Kaye Miller, nephew; David Morgan and grandchildren; Tyler and Jacob Smith. The family would like to offer a sincere thank you to the staff of Care Partners Hospice for their wonderful loving care and kindness through Mrs. Smith illness. Graveside services will be held 11am, Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Toxaway.
