Jeanette Hefner passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014. A Native of Brevard, N.C., She attended the Rosenwald Elementary School and Allen High School in Asheville, N.C., and Voorhees Junior College in Voohees, S.C. She was a member of Bethel "A" Baptist Church where she served as a member of the choir and a member of the Girls Auxillary. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Cordie B. Hefner, and survived by one brother, Dr. James A. Hefner and his wife Edwina, three nephews, Mr. Christopher Hefner, Dr. Jonathan Hefner and his wife Katrina, Dr. David Hefner and his wife Tasha and a host of relatives and friends. She was respected and loved by everyone. Memorial services will be held Saturday July 12, 2014 at 3:00pm at Bethel "A" Baptist Church conducted by Rev. G. Larry Davis.
