Pisgah Forest – Jeanette Rose Mathis, 76, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC. A native of Freemont, OH, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Alice Swope Deisneroth. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Penrose. Surviving are her husband, Coy Mathis; daughters, Patricia Ann McCann and husband Jack of Pisgah Forest, and Brenda Whitmire of Rosman; sister, Janet Stout of Westmoreland, TN; brother, Bernard Deisneroth, Jr. of Freemont, OH; grandchildren, Bobby McCann, Alan Whitmire, Chrissy Whitmire, and Anna Whitmire. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ricky Levi officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens.
