Jeanette "Ivy" White, age 60 a native of Transylvania County died Friday November 5, 2010 at The Elizabeth House. She was born April 15,1950 in Frostproof Fl. to the late Davis E. Barton and Iona Owen Barton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Rita Charlene Stafford and two brothers Boyd and Don'l Barton. Survivors include her husband William E. White of the home, two sons: Michael B. Stafford of Black Mountain and Conrad F. Stafford of Balsam Grove, one daughter; Mrs. Tonya M. Eubanks and her husband Daniel of Sapphire, one brother; Leon Barton and his wife Kathy of Brevard, three sisters; Mrs. Elaine Cannon and her husband Morris of Rosman, Mrs. Donna White and her husband Bob of Brevard, Velda Hoxit and her husband Jerry of Brevard. Three step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday November 8, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev.Troy Stamey. Interment will follow at Cathey's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the funeral home.
