Jerry Mac Fitzgerald went to rest in the loving arms of
Jesus, his Lord and Savior on Wed. 4/14/10. During his 78 years on this earth he
was married to the late Beulah Justus Fitzgerald for 44 years. Honorably discharged
from the Army as a disabled vet from Korea, he still went back to school and became
a Nurse Anesthetist practicing in many hospitals in WNC for over 30 years. He is survived
by a son Clay, a daughter Cathy, and granddaughters Katie Williams and Mandy Murray,
who loved and will miss him but are thrilled by his ultimate destination. He furthered the
cause of Christ in developing several 7th Day Adventist congregations before focusing on
the evangelistic efforts of Dr. Desmond Ford and Good News Unlimited. It was his wish
memorials be made to Good News Unlimited in honor of Dr. Ford at www.goodnewsunlimited.org or to cordministries at www.cordministries.com., an evangelistic outreach his granddaughter Mandy volunteers with.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
