Jerry Bruce Patterson, 83, passed away peacefully November14, 2024. He was born July 9, 1941, to Angus and Ossie Hubbard Patterson in Transylvania County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Murr Patterson for 64 years; one daughter, Sandy Israel (Chester); two sons, Jimmy and Terry Patterson (Keisha) all of Brevard; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Coy Patterson (Barbara) of Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.

He was a carpet layer by trade. He was a good person, kind, friendly, good-hearted and had a great personality. He had many friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, November 23 at 3:00 p.m. at Carson's Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Dodson and Rev. J.R. Murr officiating.
