Jerry C. Pierson Pisgah Forest – Jerry C. Pierson, 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was the son of the late Augustus and Susie Rogers Pierson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Gazella Matthews Pierson, brothers; Frank, Ed, Henry and Ralph Pierson, sisters; Alice Reece, Edna Fulford and Ethel Pierson. Jerry is survived by his son; Larry Gordon and wife Sally of Brevard, one brother James Pierson of Green Cove Springs, FL, grandchildren; Jeff Gordon and wife Kelli of Brevard and Stephanie Voso and husband James of Fletcher, great grandchildren; Hannah, Pierson, Caleb and Megan Gordon and Nick and Sarah James Voso and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 6pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Brevard VFW with military honors conducted by the Transylvania County Honor Guard.
