Jessie Beddingfield, of Whitewater, North Carolina, completed her earthly journey in her 100th year and entered her heavenly home on May 19, 2026. Jessie was the daughter of John and Georgie Franks and was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Beddingfield, as well as many other family members and friends whom she loved.

Jessie was a woman of deep faith, determined tenacity, and fierce grit. She will be remembered as a woman of great hospitality, who never wanted anyone that came into her house to leave with an empty stomach. Jessie found joy in spending time with her family, growing and admiring flowers, a good bowl of ice cream and walking outside.

Jessie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother who will be missed and celebrated by all those who loved her.

Services for Jessie will be held at Whitewater Baptist Church on Saturday, May 23, 2026, with a family viewing at 10:30 am, Visitation at 11 am, Service at 12 with graveside rights to follow.
