Mable "Scrub" Chapman, 80, of Rosman, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. She was born in Transylvania County to the late Homer Lance and Edith Stamey Lance. She is survived by her husband, Roy William Chapman; son Dean Chapman of Rosman; daughter Debbie Duckett of Hendersonville; 5 grandchildren; Nikki Duckett, J.D. Duckett, Jared Chapman, Chelsea Tesnow and Bay Chapman; 2 great-grandchildren: Kayden Chapman and Audrina Chapman. The funeral service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, August 18, 2012 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
