Jo Anne Shimp of Brevard,died December 15, 2017 at home, surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father Calvin Goddard, and mother Francis Mathis, sister Kay Duffey, brother Randy Goddard. She is survived by daughter Deana Shimp Jones, husband Matt, son Tommy Rosamond, wife Robin, two grandsons, Hunter and Evan Jones, two granddaughters Jo Anne and Carolina Rosamond, two great granddaughters. She's survived by her brothers, Tom Goddard, wife Phyllis, Phil Tidwell, wife Michelle, Larry Goddard, wife Melody, Wayne Goddard, wife Pat and sister Janice Phillips, husband Guerry and several nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
