JoAnn Owen Galloway, 89, of Brevard, NC went to her Heavenly Home on June 2, 2026. She was born on May 15, 1937 in Lake Toxaway, NC.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent Corbin Owen and Elizabeth Lee Owen, her husband, Jesse Fred Galloway, three brothers, Jack Corbin Owen, Jerry Richard Owen, and James Edward Owen, two sisters, Jean Owen Crotts and Johnnie Owen Fordyce.

Survivors include include three children, Karen Hughes (Larry), Susie Moody (Carlton), Dean Galloway (Karen); four grandchildren, Scott Waldrop, Misty Sheppard (Robert),Holly Hughey (Jonathan), and Kaeden Galloway; three great grandchildren, Asa Sheppard, Finley Hughey and Weston Hughey; brother, Robert Joseph Owen (Gaye); sister, Carol Jeanette Owen; sister-in-law, Brenda Wise Owen; many nephews and nieces.

JoAnn loved to paint in her earlier years, and going on Toney Tour trips. She also loved her precious cat "Miss Kitty". She attended In the Bible Mission.

The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, June 5, 2026 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
