Brevard – Joel Hubbard, 65, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Alton and Lucy Miller Hubbard. Joel served his country in the U. S. Marines. He loved his family dearly and will be deeply missed. Survivors include his son; John Alton Hubbard of Jacksonville, FL, daughter; Jvonne Hubbard of Sevierville, TN, brother; Monroe Hubbard and wife Alice of East Fork, sister; Patsy Hubbard of Brevard, three grandchildren and many loving Nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2pm, Monday, April 18, 2016 at Big Hill Cemetery with the Transylvania County Honor Guard providing military graveside rites.
