John Daniel Burrell Jr., age 35 of Lake Toxaway died Friday July 16, 2010, at Mission Hospital. He was born April 27, 1975 in Transylvania County to John (Danny) Burrell Sr. and Nancy Townes Burrell of Lake Toxaway . He was preceded in death by a brother Mark Burrell. Mr. Burrell was a member of North Toxaway Baptist Church and a self employed Arborist. In addition to his parents survivors include four sons; Dalton Moore and Daniel Burrell both of Michigan, David Burrell and Tanner Burrell both of Lake Toxaway, one brother Rev. Jimmy Burrell and his wife Sarah of Pickens SC, one sister Julie Miller and her husband Danny of Lake Toxaway, Maternal grandfather Ralph Townes of Easley SC, Paternal grandmother Mary Mendlowitz of Saphire, two nieces, Naomi and Eden Burrell both of Pickens SC and one nephew Zachery Miller of Lake Toxaway. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 21, 2010 at 2:00pm at North Toxaway Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jimmy Burrell, Rev. Benson Galloway, Rev. Tony Lambert and Rev. Burles Powell. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake Toxaway. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:45pm until 1:45pm prior to the service at the church.
