John Koshikar, Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior into eternal rest on Sunday, May 8, 2016. John Koshikar Sr., 96, of Pisgah Forest, died Sunday, May 8, 2016 peacefully at home. John was born in Wislok, Ukraine in 1919. He lived a profound and varied life and witnessed amazing changes during his lifetime. Professionally, he was an accomplished Tool and Die Maker for Bendix Aerospace Prototype Division in Utica, NY. He was a loving father and husband who was predeceased by his wife Anna in 1996. He leaves behind two sons, Robert and his wife Sue, and John, Jr., two granddaughters, Larisa and Natalie, all of Pisgah Forest, and also numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 11 am Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
