John Avery Parker, Jr., age 73, of Brevard, passed away on December 4, 2019. He was the son of the late John A. Parker, Sr. and Betty Childress Parker. John had a big heart and many friends. He was lovingly known as "Uncle John" by many. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Marie Upchurch Parker, one brother, David A. Parker and wife Nichola of Wichita Falls, TX and several step children. Memorial services will be private.
