Johnny Alfred Henderson went to be with the Lord, September 22, 2023.

He was a life long resident of Transylvania County, NC, born August 19, 1947.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Oscar Duckworth Henderson and Ernestine Miller Henderson, a brother, TC Henderson, and his beloved son, Billy Edward Henderson.

He is survived by his beloved son, Jonathan Henderson, his grandchildren, Alaela, Jonathan, Onyx and Briar Rose, of Salem, SC, former wife, Wanda Henderson, of Brevard, NC, his sisters; Margaret Leach (Ronnie) of Bluffton, SC, Viola Powell (Leonard) of Lake Toxaway, NC.

Johnny was a simple, kind, humble man who will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
