Joseph Lance Rhodes Duncan, age 4, of Pisgah Forest died Wednesday May 15, 2013. He was born February 17, 2009 in Transylvania County to Joseph Patrick Duncan and Reba Christopher Duncan. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mary Ruth Duncan and Terry Duncan. Survivors in addition to his parents include; one brother Jesse Duncan, two sister; Brittney Akers and Rebecca Duncan, Maternal grandparents; Shirley Strickland and Rick Christopher and his maternal great grandparents; Alma and Jim McCracken and Louis Strickland. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday May 18, 2013 at Zion Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dan Dellinger and Rev. Tommy Owen. The family will receive friends at the church from 12noon until 2:00pm prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery.
