Judy Ann Tilson Wilson, age 72 of Brevard, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022.

She was born on December 11, 1950, in Macon County, was raised in the Buck Creek community and attended Buck Creek Baptist Church. She was saved and baptized there as a young girl. Her family later moved to Brevard, and she was a student and cheerleader at Brevard High School.

As a young teenager she met and fell in love with Earl Wilson. They married at her age of 15 and later had two children, Jon and wife, April of Rosman, Jennifer Hibbs and husband, Tony of Mills River. She also had two grandsons, Tyler Wilson and wife, Chelsie, and Aidan Hibbs and three great grandsons, Jonah, Miles, and Rylan Wilson.

She and Earl enjoyed over 40 years of a storybook marriage until he passed away in 2008. Throughout all of the decades spent together they enjoyed family, friends, being outdoors and most of all being together surrounded by loved ones.

Judy was known for her ability to make anyone laugh, her quick wit, and never meeting a stranger. If you knew her then you know she was your friend and she would be there for you always.

We have lost a treasure here on earth but it's comforting to know that Heaven gained another angel when she rejoined Earl.

Services will be held at Moody-Connolly on Friday, December 23, 2022, with visitation at 11:00 am and service at 12:00 noon. Graveside service will be at the Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
