Brevard – June M. Morgan, 80, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. Mrs. Morgan was a native of Newark, NJ. She had twelve brothers and sisters. She was a member of Carr's Hill Baptist Church and she was a volunteer at Transylvania Regional Hospital and the Brian Center. Surviving are her husband, V. C. Morgan; son, Rick Adams and wife Linda of Sullivan, MO; step-son, David Morgan and wife Terri of Brevard; step-daughter, Kaye Miller and husband Steve of Brevard; grandchildren, Joshua Morgan, Jacob Morgan, Dustin Mehaffey, Brian Gross and Bradley Gross; a number of great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Carr's Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Shane Hardesty and Pete Lee officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to TRH Hospice.
