Pisgah Forest - Karen Patricia Stamey, 61, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2021. Karen was born on November 5, 1960 in Transylvania County. She was the daughter of the late Jake and Mildred Stamey. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Stamey. Survivors include her children, Matthew Guy (Aubri), Megan Robertson (Larry), and Jake Stamey (Cory); brothers, Pete (Kathy) and Eddie Stamey; sisters, Colita Barton (Kenneth) and Lisa Moss (Dwayne); Grandchildren, Ty Robertson, Eriel and Evie Guy. Special thanks to Jake (her pride and joy) and Cory for their unselfish attention as her caregivers in Karen's later years. Regardless of the times or seasons of life, she was always concerned about and loved her family and friends. At Karen's request there will be no service, but family and friends will have a time to share memories at Temple Baptist Church Fellowship Building, Pisgah Forest on Friday, December 31, 2021 from 12:00-2:00pm.
