Kathleen McCrary Moore, age 88, of Brevard died Saturday June 1, 2013. She was born September 6, 1924 in Transylvania County to the late Virgil McCrary and Ida Ball McCrary. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cliffton Moore and five sisters; Dola Shipman, Lucy Misenhammer, Mary Wilson, Dot Case and Helen Duckworth. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a member of The First Baptist Church of Brevard. Survivors Include one son; Douglas Moore and his wife Lynn of Simpsonville S.C. one daughter; Sharon Beavers and her husband Cliffton of Mays Landing N.J., two brothers Charles and Thomas McCrary both of Little River and three grandchildren: Andy Moore, Sandy Moore and Danielle Beavers. Memorial services will be held Wednesday June 5, 2013 at 3:00pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Tommy Owen.
