Katie P. Lusk Etowah – Katie P. Lusk, 75, went home to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness on Monday, January 6, 2014. She was a daughter of the late John Robert and Claircie Ashe Brown. Katie attended In the Bible Mission Church in Brevard. Surviving is her husband of 13 years, Gerald Lusk, sons; Dwight Perkins and wife Susan of Pisgah Forest, Jeff Perkins and wife Kim of Dunedin, FL, Kevin Lusk and wife Lisa of Asheville, Cary Lusk and wife Kay of Kennesaw, GA, Kyle Lusk and wife Heidi of Brevard, daughters; Leigh Ann Goforth and husband Roger of Asheville, sisters; Nora Israel of Brevard, Edith Chapman of Cedar Mountain, Mary Ellen Hartman of Pisgah Forest, grandchildren; Tyler, Robert and Julie and several step grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Tommy Owen officiating.
