November 30, 1937 – December 2, 2015
The Angels rejoiced on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 when Kenneth Carol Frisbee, 78, went home to be with the Lord.
A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late Marion Posey Frisbee and Mattie Emma Lowe Frisbee. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Hazel Church and Gladys Beasley, and a brother, Lewis Frisbee.
Mr. Frisbee was a member of Cedar Mountain Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a veteran, serving in the U. S. Army, and he loved hunting and fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Freda Owen Frisbee; son, David Anthony Frisbee and wife Carolynne of Winston-Salem; daughter, Lisa Frisbee Nicholson and husband Tyler of Hendersonville; brother, Grover Frisbee of Brevard; sister, Alene Green of Waynesville; grandchildren, Kelli Frisbee, Trey Nicholson, Taylor Nicholson; his precious "babies", great-grandchildren, De'Jane' Frisbee, Braxton Frisbee, Savanah Frisbee, Kaidyn Nicholson, David Boyer; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Cedar Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Cooke and Rev. Troy Cornett officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memories with military graveside rites conducted by the Honor Guard for Transylvania County Veterans.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday, December 4, 2015 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
