L. V. McCall, 77, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late William Burton McCall and Roxie Jones McCall and was the husband of the late Lucy Josephine McCall. He was also preceded in death by one sister and four brothers. Surviving are his son, Lyndon V. McCall and wife Sarah of Hendersonville; four brothers, Clifford McCall, Clinton McCall, Coy McCall, and Sydney McCall all of Pisgah Forest; one sister, Eunice Ayers of Pisgah Forest; three grandchildren, Carey, Lydia, and Selena McCall all of Etowah. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, May 16, 2010 in the Chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Revs. Tommy Owen and Raymond Whitfield officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
