L. C. "Archie" McCall Lake Toxaway – L. C. "Archie" McCall, 80, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at his residence. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late William Jason McCall and Rosetta Owen McCall. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul McCall and a sister, Violet Smith. Mr. McCall was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening and landscaping. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Donna Anders McCall; daughters, Maria Rogers and husband Mike of Pisgah Forest and Pam Justice and husband David of Penrose; sons, Michael McCall of Lake Toxaway and Matthew McCall of Balsam Grove; brother, Joseph P. McCall and wife Linda of Balsam Grove; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Mack McCall Cemetery with Rev.
