Lawana Morgan Bellini, age 68, of Rosman and Brevard Reunited with her many family and friends in heaven on Sunday, October 18, 2009. She died peacefully with the people she loved most at her side. Lawana was born in May and Spring was always her favorite season. She loved flowers. Before poor health rendered her unable to garden, she had something blooming in her yard almost year round, music was one of her great pleasures, she enjoyed gospel music as well as the traditional music of the mountains. As a young woman she loved to square dance and clog. Lawans cherished her family and her friends. She always remembered birthdays, holidays and other special occasions with a card and personal note. Her many friends became her "Love People" and part of her extended family. Her grandchildren Hanna and Jordan once attempted to draw grandma's "Love Tree" and ran out room after using four feet of butcher paper. Some of those love people who will cherish her memory are; one daughter Anita Badrock and her husband Roger, grandchildren Hanna and Jordan Slomianyj, grandchildren Paul and Kim Badrock and Kelly Badrock. Special grandchild Garelh Fann and his wife Leslie, great grandchildren Elise and Hutton Badrock, sister-in-law and life long friend Aileen Morgan, Nieces and nephews Veda and Howard Bradburn, Victoria Morgan, Morgan and Josh Bradburn, Colin and Sammy Hall, and a special friend Harold Newman. Funeral services will be held Sunday October 25, 2009 at 2 PM at Old Toxaway Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tony Lambert. Burial will follow in Pisgah Gardens.
