Pisgah Forest – Lenna M. Lawrence, 91, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Robbinsville, she was the daughter of the late William S. and Amanda Jane Hensley McIntyre and was the wife of the late Edward F. Lawrence. Mrs. Lawrence was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Randy Lawrence and wife Faye of Pisgah Forest; sisters, Arlene Adams of Robbinsville, and Mary Smith of Alcoa, TN; grandchildren, Shane and Philip Lawrence; great granddaughter, Rachel Lawrence. The graveside service will be held at 3 pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Raymond Whitfield officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 until 2:45 Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Turkey Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
