Yvonne Burch, aged 89, of Seneca, SC, formerly of Penrose, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Born to Edgar and Eva Miller on March 10, 1936, in Highlands, NC, Ms. Burch was preceded in death by her first husband, Lyle Tilson; her second husband, Robert L. Burch; her son, Ricky Tilson; her sisters, Inez Teague and Eva Jo Coggins; and her brothers, Wymer Miller, Denzel Miller, and Willard Miller.

She is survived by her daughter, DiAnne Tilson Crisp (Mitch); her daughter-in-law, Cindy Wiley Tilson; her grandchildren, Katie Crisp Howard (Blake), Will Tilson, and Michael Tilson; and her great-grandchildren, Everly Howard, Hollyn Howard, Marlowe Howard, Layla Tilson, Weston Tilson, and Harper Tilson. She is also survived by her sister, Willadean Holland of Franklin, NC.

Mrs. Burch was a lifelong member of Buck Creek Baptist Church and valued her family deeply. The family expresses appreciation to the staff of Belvedere Commons of Seneca for their dedicated care during her residency, as well as to the medical teams at Oconee Medical Center and Cottingham House in Seneca for their support during her brief stays.

A graveside service will be held on November 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Blue Ridge Garden of Memory, 994 Hendersonville Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC. A private family viewing will take place at 9:30 AM at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home, 181 South Caldwell St., Brevard, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
