Lake Toxaway - Leona Faith Shelton McCall was welcomed into heaven on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at home, surrounded by her family . She was born on January 17, 1959, in Lake Toxaway NC.
Leona was known for her endless love and warm soul. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
She has been reunited with her son, Toby Mathis, her mother, Cleo Shelton and grandparents, J.O. and Mary Etta Shelton.
Leona is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jimmy Earl McCall, her daughter Melissa Pressley (Ross), her grandchildren Rylee, Kelsee and Avery Pressley, great grandson Kolsyn Hayes, step daughter Sara McCall, granddaughter Alexis McCall, great granddaughter Izabella McCall, her sister Patty Smith, her nieces Missy Hendricks (Brian) and Christy Rice (Craig), nephew Michael Smith (Amy Jo), and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Leona will be held 2pm, Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Amazing Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Aiken officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Quebec.
