Lester O'Neal Fisher, 80, died Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Brian Center, Brevard, NC. A lifelong resident of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Dudley and Bessie Galloway Fisher. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Edwin Fisher. Mr. Fisher was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Surviving are his sister, Lula Swann of Sylva, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Revs. Virgil Hogsed and Ben Owen officiating. Burial will be in Mack McCall Cemetery.
