Lester Edward Galloway Lester Edward Galloway, 84, passed away on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 at the Oaks of Brevard. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Culwell and Ella Marie Meece Galloway. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Louise and Helen, and his brothers, Louis, Doyle, Floyd, Boyd, and Clinton. Surviving are his daughters, Jeanette Miller of Rosman, Elaine Barton and husband Rickey of Brevard, and Linda Galloway of Rosman; son, Phillip Galloway and wife Amy of Rosman; sisters, Donnie Hamilton and husband Buddy of Etowah, Dorothy and Carolyn; brothers, Harold Galloway of Rosman and Nealius Galloway and wife Ophia of Brevard; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Littleton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
