Lillian McCall Zywot passed away at the age of 95 in Cheboygan, Michigan.

She was born in Gloucester, North Carolina, in 1929. In 1948, she married her beloved husband, Andrew Joseph Zywot, in Greenville, South Carolina, and they welcomed their daughter, Teresa Dyan Zywot.

After Andrew's military service, the family moved to Brighton, Michigan, where they became actively involved in raising their grandson, Deon. Following their retirement, Lillian and Andrew relocated to Balsam Grove, North Carolina, where they raised cattle and engaged with the local community until Andrew's passing in 2002. Lillian continued to live in Balsam Grove for many years, remaining active in the church and community, even yodeling at local events. Later, Lillian moved in with her daughter Teresa in Arden, North Carolina. Tragically, Teresa passed away in 2018, prompting Lillian to return to Michigan. Lillian spent her final moments surrounded by her grandson Deon and Tammy Lehman.

A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 2 PM at Moody Connolly Funeral Home, located at 181 South Caldwell St., Brevard, North Carolina. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 2 PM at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 330 Shoal Creek Road, Balsam Grove.
