Lillie Mae Hogsed Owen Brevard – Lillie Mae Hogsed Owen, 91, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Elzira McCall Hogsed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Owen; a son, Donald Eddie Owen and six brothers and one sister. Lillie enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She was a great cook. She dearly loved her family. Surviving are her son; Troy Cecil Owen and wife Nancy of Pisgah Forest, daughters; Patricia Ann Galloway and husband Ben of Brevard, Barbara Sue Whitmire of Brevard, H. Marcella Pope of Brevard, Judy Lucille Gillespie and husband Roger of Brevard, Nancy O. Crane and husband Robert of Brevard; brother, AC Hogsed and wife Molly of Gloucester; sixteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 26, 2014 at Grace Baptist Church with the Revs. Shane Duncan and Tommy Owen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mack McCall Cemetery.
