Linda Conner

May 24, 1943 – December 5, 2025

Linda Conner, 82, of Brevard, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2025. A native of Brevard, Linda spent her life surrounded by the mountains she loved and the family she cherished deeply.

Linda was a devoted mother to Cindy Hoots (Rick) and Joanna Franks (Edward), and a proud Mamaw to Lena Zaludek (Shane), Kailey Hoots (Brian), Zack Franks, Nathan Franks, and Stephanie Harwood (Robin). She was blessed to be “Mamaw” once more to great-grandchildren, including Ethan, Rilynn, Ivy, and many others who will continue to carry her love forward.

More than anything, Linda’s heart belonged to her family. She was known affectionately as “Mamaw” not only to her own, but to countless others who were welcomed into her life with open arms. Her home was a place of comfort, warmth, and laughter—a space where everyone left feeling loved. Her gentle spirit, faith in the Lord, and unwavering kindness touched all who knew her.

Linda lived a life full of love, faith, and devotion. Though she will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing she is now resting peacefully in the presence of her Heavenly Father.

Services will be held Tuesday, December 9th,2025, at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home in Brevard, NC, with the family receiving friends at 1:00 PM and the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at Blue Ridge Garden of Memory in Pisgah Forest.
