Linda Dale Galloway Rodriguez, 78, of Brevard, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on March 15, 2024 from chronic illnesses.

Linda was born April 6,1945 to Nancy Galloway in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was raised by her Granny, Mamie Galloway Davis, along with her siblings: Melvin, Harry, and Sandy.

Linda was married to Charles Albrecht and they had a son, Charlie and a daughter, Peggy together. After divorcing and moving to Miami, Florida, Linda met and married Lazaro Rodriguez and together they had a son, Melvin, a daughter, Candita and a son, Oscar. Linda loved her children immensely and was so proud of them and bragged on them often. She was also the proud Granny of 16 miracles: John, Amanda, Hollie, Lindsey, Nicholas, Oz, Eric, Ella, Grace, Shiloh, Evangeline, Stella, Ireland, Psalm, Pearl, and Oliver.

She had a diverse and rewarding career as a nurse where she touched the lives of many.

Linda was passionate, strong and loved her God which was evident in how she surpassed her trials and tribulations. She will be missed by many.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Galloway, her father, Verdale Aiken, her Granny, Mamie Galloway Davis, and her brother, Melvin Galloway.

Linda is survived by her children Charles (Greih) Albrecht, Peggy (Agustin) Montaner, Melvin (Desiree) Rodriguez, Candita Rodriguez, Oscar (Natisha) Rodriguez; her brother Charles Harry Galloway, her sisters Joan Wheeler, Mary Jean Curtis, and Mary Cook. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will be holding a burial and ceremony beginning at Galloway Memorial Cemetery in Rosman on March 30,2024 at 2pm followed by a celebration of life at Eastatoe Community Center.
