Lois Elizabeth Luker Galloway, age 80 of Rosman, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 6, 2020. She was born on February 25, 1940. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and niece. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Galloway; daughter, Leslie Jean Galloway; parents, Claude Luker and Carrie Searcy Luker; brothers, Lloyd Luker, Floyd Luker, Ray Luker, and Rafalee Luker all from Transylvania County. Survivors include her children, Linda Galloway of Rosman, Elaine Barton and husband Rickey of Old Toxaway, Jeanette Galloway of Rosman, Phillip Galloway and wife Amy of Walnut Hollow; sister, Kathy Barton and husband Leon of Old Toxaway; sisters-in-law, Danila Luker and Kathryn Luker of Rosman; aunt, Ruby Reid Raines of Brevard; 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Rosman Church of God on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will be at 2 PM and will be conducted by Rev. Don Johnson and Rev. Michael Pressley. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Calvert Cemetery.
