Lois Jarrett Reid Rosman – Lois Jarrett Reid, 71, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist University Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Cornelia Holden Jarrett and was the wife of the late Rev. Morris Reid. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, C. J. Mrs. Reid was a member of Rosman Pentecostal Lighthouse where she was active in the cooking ministry and Vacation Bible School. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her daughter, LaVelle Allen and husband Terry of Rosman; sons, Marty Reid and wife Sarah of Cedar Mtn., Myron Reid and wife Karla of Oklahoma, Brandon Marty Reid and wife Sophia of Lake Toxaway, and Chad Reid and wife Debra of Lake Toxaway; sisters, Maxine Brown and husband W.A. of Rosman, and Kathleen Watson and husband Sam of Rosman; brothers, Horace Jarrett and wife Pat of Rosman, Morris Jarrett and wife Verna Lee of Six Mile, SC, and David Jarrett and wife Patty of Rosman; grandchildren, Blakely, Madison, Elijah, Alondra, Cleo, Jolie, Sierra, Leshea, Caitlyn, Cadence, and Caitlyn Kerr. The family will receive friends starting at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Rosman Pentecostal Lighthouse followed by the funeral service at 12 noon conducted by Rev, Don Johnson.
