Sapphire – Lovine Mary Lyday Kenney, 73, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Coleman and Arvie Hubbard Lyday and was the wife of the late Arthur Colemon "Cope" Kenney. Surviving are her daughter, Sandra F. Kenney of the home; brother, Neil Lyday and wife Ann of Sapphire; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 23, 2011 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jimmy Burrell and Bradley Chappell officiating. Burial will be in the Montvale Whitewater Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
