L.T. Ashe, age 76 of Pisgah Forest died Sunday August 22 , 2010, at The Oaks of Brevard. He was born March 14, 1934 in Jackson County to the late Luther H. Ashe and Nina Alford Hall. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Dennis Neal Ashe, one brother Major M. Ashe and one sister Evelyn A. Swangum. Survivors include his wife Shirley Jamerson Ashe of the home, one daughter Kathy Wilson and her husband Mike of Pisgah Forest, one half brother Penn Ashe of Rosman, one step brother Bill Hall of Hendersonville, two step sisters Carolyn H. Wilson and Linda H. Hogsed both of Pisgah Forest, two grandchildren Caleb and Colt Wilson both of Pisgah Forest. Memorial services will be held Thursday August 26, 2010 at 6:30pm at Little River Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Chris Farmer. The family will receive friends immediatley following the service in the fellowship hall.
