Lula Bella McClain passed away on Friday December 13, 2024.

She was born September 9th 1938 in Transylvania County, Nc. She was the daughter of Oscar and Dorothy McCall. In addition to her parents, she also proceeds in death by her husbands, Cleon Owens, Harold McClain and Dale FairChild, her son Charles Owens and three brothers and a sister.

Survivors include her children Carrie Nelson, Christopher Owens, Dorothy McClain, and Angela Robinson; her brother, Gene McCall;  sister, Aileen Hayes, as well as 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grand children.

Lula Bell worked at Swirl and worked at Platt Saco Lowell for many years. She did landscaping around the lake in Lake Toxaway for 25-30 years.

Her service will be held at Shoal Creek Baptist Church on Friday December 27th, 2024 at 11am in Balsam Grove, followed by graveside service at 2pm at Georges Creek Baptist Church in Easley SC.
