Lydia "Ann" Lowe Brevard – Lydia "Ann" Lowe, 59, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Oaks of Brevard. A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late George Gordon Forga and Ida Juanita Lusk Sims and was the wife of the late Abe Levis Lowe. She was also preceded in death by one daughter Linda Kay Golden, one brother Ellis Forga and six grandchildren. Surviving are her sons, Phillip Golden and wife Mary Beth of Sapphire, Tommy Golden and wife Cynthia of Clyde, NC; step-daughters, Cathy Nicholson and husband Mike of Brevard, Teresa Queen of Balsam Grove, Cindy Gosnell and husband Austin of Etowah, Sharon Edwards and husband Joe of Brevard, Denise Lowe of Brevard; step-sons, Bobby Lowe of Fletcher and Chuck Lowe of Brevard; brother, Gary Forga and wife Stacy of Tuscon, AZ; sister, Jennie Feeley and husband Trey of Ft. Mill, SC; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Quebec, with the Rev. Ray Von Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
