Mabel Kitchen Fisher, age 87, of Lake Toxaway died Tuesday, November 8, 2011. She was born June 18, 1924 in Transylvania County to the late Overton Kitchen and Myrtle McCall Kitchen. Mrs. Fisher was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Fisher and one son Larry "Cotton" Fisher. Survivors include two sons; Glen Fisher and his wife Wanda and Keith Fisher and his wife T.C. Thomas Fisher, one daughter; Bobbi Powell and her husband Billy. Four grandchildren; Lynette Conard, Darlene Griffin, Paige Aiken and April McNeely and eight great-grandchildren; Addison Conard and Cambell Conard, Mason Griffin, Kendall Aiken, Riley Aiken, Alex McNeely, Avery McNeely and Liam McNeely. Funeral services will be held Friday November 11, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Macedonia Baptist Church Conducted by Rev. Tommy Owen, Rev John Ashe and Rev. Chester Chappell. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be; Robert Aiken, Mack McNeely, Allen Griffin, Tony Conard, Timothy Owen and R.L. Norton. Honorary pallbearers will be; Mason Griffin, Cambell Conard and Liam McNeely
