Madaline Golden Jones Brevard –Madaline Golden Jones, 83, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Hendersonville, NC. A native of Jackson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late James and Wannie Mathis Golden. She is also preceded in death by her son, Rusty Woodard, sisters, Brenda, Ruby, and Myrtle, and her brothers, Dee and James. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Cullowhee Church of God. Surviving are her daughters, Janice Morris and husband David of Ludowici, GA. And Kathy Shealy and husband Carl of Brevard; sons, Elmer Woodard and wife Beverly of Bellevue, NE, and Michael Woodard and wife Ginger of Cedar Mtn.; daughter-in-law, Monta Woodard of Dublin, GA; sisters, Imagene, Kathleen, Ernestine, Edith, Ann, Marie, and Sadie; brothers, James Jr., Talmadge, and Doug; grandchildren, Amy, Shane, John, Denise, Stacy, Todd, Cortney, Lisa, Kelly, and Shawn; 15 great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 3, 2013 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
