Roberta Hale Dodson, age 94 of Brevard, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 12, 2021.

Mrs. Dodson was born on June 5, 1927, in Transylvania Co. to the late James and Bruna Ray Hale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Bert Dodson; three sisters, Myrtle Bush, Nell Vickers, and Hazel Kilpatrick; two brothers, Robert Hale, and Edward Hale.

Mrs. Dodson was a member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse in Rosman. She dedicated her life to giving to others and she opened her home to many in need.

Survivors include her son, Roger Dodson of Brevard and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the Pentecostal Lighthouse in Rosman. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
