Mamie L. Hogsed, 81, of Brevard passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013. She was a daughter of the late Wayman and Mattie Compton Galloway. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Eugene Hogsed; grandson, Jack Elgin Alley; brothers, Mitchell, Russell, and Winfred Galloway and a sister, Louise Morgan. Mamie was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters; Patsy Hogsed of Brevard and Shirley Hogsed of Fletcher; grandchildren, Jamie and Jennifer Alley and four great grandchildren. No local services are planned.
