Hendersonville - Margaret "Marge" Bennett, 97, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016. She was born in Palmyra, NJ on August 11, 1918 to Albert & Kathryn Raymond.

She is survived by her daughter Sally Heichelbech (Harold), granddaughter Janet Walczak, granddaughter Anna McNeil (Danny), great granddaughter Harmony Booker (Kyle), great granddaughter Kaitlyn McNeil, great grandson Gary McNeil, three great-great grandsons, and 3 nieces.

She was preceded in death by husband Merrill Bennett, daughter Janet Augustine, son-in-law Ellis Augustine, brothers John and Albert Raymond, and sister Thelma Jackson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16 at 11AM at Mills River United Methodist Church with Reverend Paige Ann Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 10AM to 11AM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Gillespie Evergreen Cemetery, Country Club Rd. Brevard with Fr. Douglas Woofter officiating.
