Margaret Ellie Green , age 84 of Cedar Mtn. went home to be with the Lord Wednesday January 12, 2011 at The Oaks of Brevard. She was born August 17, 1926 in Laurens SC to the late Ralph Samuel Glenn and Sallie Wells Glenn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband James Andrew Green. Mrs. Green was retired from the textile industry and a member of Open Arms Tabernacle. Survivors include , three sons; Rev. James Phillip Green and his wife Esther of Manchester Tenn, Rev. Richard O'Neil Green and his wife Linda of Juno Alaska and Rev. Donald W. Green and his wife Cynthia of Cedar Mtn., two brothers; Jerry Glenn of Greenville SC and Charles Glenn of California, one sister; Mrs. Helen Martin of Woodruff SC, six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren . Funeral services will be held Monday January 17, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Open Arms Tabernacle conducted by Rev. John Devine, Rev. James Green, Rev. Richard Green and Rev. Donald Greene. Interment will follow at Pisgah Gardens, The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00pm until 3:00pm prior to the service at the church.
