Brevard – Margaret Robinson McCall, 71, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011 at her residence. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Alva Whitmire Robinson and was the wife of the late Rufus "Sug" McCall. Surviving are her daughter, Peggy Orr and husband Wayne of Columbus, NC; sons, Tony McCall and wife Michelle of Brevard and Brett McCall and wife Virginia of Enoree, SC; sisters, Ruby Russell of Fort Mill, SC, Helen Vanhoy and husband Ken of Kernersville, NC, Christine Lowe and husband J. C., and Ruth Robinson all of High Point, NC, and Karen Scarboro of Greensboro, NC; brother, Tom Robinson of Brevard; two grandchildren, Jennifer Adams and Jarrod McCall; three great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 3 pm Sunday, November 13, 2011 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Chester Chappell and Ronnie Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to TRH Hospice.
